Happy 73rd Independence Day, India. Holiday are hard to come by, and if the forecast is predominantly for a comparatively drier day on that holiday, you decide to put on your gear and ride. That’s what we decided to do.
We planned an early morning breakfast ride to any hotel in Wai. A delayed start coupled with pothole-ridden highway meant we arrived much later than expected at our destination. After breakfast, our tummies were full, but our hearts were not content. So we decided to stretch the ride to another destination - Necklace point. It was worth it. Everyone got their favourite poses and profile pics clicked to their heart’s content.
That was that a mid-week holiday, clouds tried their best to stay away, bikes were taken out, kms were added to the odometer, and hearts were happy. All in all, a good day.
