The very first long ride on Yakira (Ducati Multistrada v4) along with my college mates. 1 Ducati, 2 Tiger 800, and 1 BMW 750 GS wanted to cover 3500km in 10 days.
The plan was to do Pune - Nallamala Forest reserve - Puducherry - Dhanushkodi - Kodaikanal - Bangalore - Pune. We started great, but unfortunately, the trip had a lot of hiccups. We encountered cyclonic rains on our way to Puducherry, our bikes gave us trouble, and my Ducati broke down just before Dhanushkodi. So, unfortunately, I had to retire from this ride while others carried on. But this breakdown was not before covering more than 1500 km, and I loved it. Now to get the bike back from Kochi. That means another long ride back to Pune. Yay. Stay tuned for Part 2....
