My first ever, a proper long ride to Hampi (Karnataka) was a fun-filled and memorable one. A group of old collegemates made a plan to visit the historical and archeologically famous city of Hampi. 545km one way, it meant this would be the furthest I would have ridden in a single day.
I was seriously underprepared. But that’s what friends are for. Cords to tie down my stuff, hydration packs and friendly banter all the way.
That’s what you get from friends. 3 days, 1145km later I am now a better rider, and certainly learned a lot about riding and things to take care while riding this long and this far. Here’s to many more such beautiful rides.
